It appears that the Prajarajyam party president K Chiranjeevi is said to be working on some special gestures and in this process, he would soon begin an exercise to interact with Mandal and village level PRP leaders over the next 10 days. While the schedule is yet to be finalized, it is said that word has been sent to all the contestants to come up with atleast 20 names in their constituencies who have dedicatedly worked in taking the party to the masses. These 20 would have the chance to interact with Chiru directly and they in turn would be given the chance to identify 50 members at the mandal-level and village-level. These fifty would then get a chance to meet the megastar and share their experiences over dinner.
Sources say that the dinner exercise is being chalked out so that the cadres’ morale remains high till May 16. Interestingly, Chiru’s exercise has already been done by his rival and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu before the happening of elections in the state. On the other hand, the PRP president was said to be on cloud nine as he has been receiving positive feedback from contestants in East Godavari, West Godavari and Visakhapatnam. The review meetings came up with a motivating note as the party leaders were said to be brimming with confidence that the party would win 28 out of the 34 assembly seats. The Contestants have been claiming that women and first-time voters in both the Godavari districts came out in large numbers to cast a ‘decisive vote’ and the polling percentage in both districts was as high as 81.5 per cent. It is heard that Chiru has reviewed PRP’s performance in 22 districts and is now left with Krishna district, which would be happening today.
It is also being said that the contestants from West Godavari have assured that they would ensure the victory of any candidate from Palakollu in case the PRP president decides to retain the Tirupathi assembly seat. While the board room talks and the reports being given by the lower level leaders have been quite upbeat, the post poll surveys and indepth analysis has shown a contrasting report. So May 16th will decide who will have the last laugh in all this.
